Station 21-1 was taking Santa around town when dispatched for a dwelling fire on Orchard Street. The communications center was reporting flames showing from the window. Ladder 2116 and Rescue 2118 arrived on location first. Chief Chew immediately ordered the county to strike the "all hands" and to start the R.I.C. team. Crews charged a hand line and proceeded into the dwelling. Firefighters also helped to extinguish the fire from the outside. The fire was quickly brought under control and stations were released. Other companies on location included Paulsboro, Logan Twp., Woolwich and GC EMS. We would like to extend our thanks to Gary Stevenson for the pictures.
